Why did the Turkey's cross the road

Fall in the Northwoods. Lots of stories. Saturday morning I was laying in the living room when I saw this big dark thing flying towards the south end of the house. Then another, and another. I got up and looked out the window to find 13 Wild Turkeys on the lawn. My camera was in the car in the garage, so I rushed to get it. But by the time I got back, they were gone. But this morning they were spotted. You can see them in the above image crossing the road. So why did they cross the road? To get away from the crazy guy with the camera.

My in-laws were up with us. Which mean I had a lot of help finishing up the basement. I am done! (for this year). Just small thins to get done, nothing major.

The highlight of the trip was Susan tking her Mom to the Oneida County Landfill. Her mother ws vey impressed on how much stuff they recycle. Basically they recycle almost everything that comes into the landfill.

Later, Joe
