Harvest Moon

Again strange happenings at Domek. It was a full moon over the weekend. Well some very odd things happened. The house was very bright at night, instead of it's normally very very dark. Our Cat Nikki was crying all night long. Our other Cat Max slept mostly in the basement.
One of our neighbors, Patty, came by to visit. She said she saw a Racoon near our driveway on the way in. She thought it was odd to see one during the daylight hours. When she left , she came back after a few minutes and said the animal is still there and it's not a racoon. Well I had to run out and take a look and a picture. Here it is;

As you can see it's not a Racoon. That is a porcupine. Or did Max the Cat get out?
Later Patty returned with her husband because they are storing their boat in one of the garages for the winter. Well we had Cattle roaming around on the property. They escaped from the near by farm. I told Patty to stop bring the wild life around. Sorry it was dark, so no photo.
Then the next morning Nikki the Cat woke me up. She was running up and down the hallway. I went and checked and she was chasing after a Mouse ( A real mouse, not a cat toy). Well Nikki is not a very quiet hunter. She has to announce to everyone that she has a mouse! After chasing it around for a while. She finally chased it passed Max. Well Max had to show Nikki how it was done. Max basically waits until his prey comes to him. But the mouse ran off into the Fireplace and disappeared. Sorry no mouse pictures.
Later that morning Nikki again was maing a lot of noise. She was on top of the TV looking out the Window. Well I looked and saw 8 deer about 20 feet from the house. Now I have a photo;

What is amazing. The photo above was taken in the dark. And the image only showed the eyes of the deer. Well I ran it through photoshop and did an autocorrect...And the above is what I got.
Joe

Mice, again! They can be a pain in the ass. All we have are West Nile ridden Mosquitos. Did you at least try to get some fresh milk or a few good cuts of Prime Angus Beef?
