Saturday was the annual Property Owners Picnic and meeting for the Lake. It was held at town hall. I would guess about 40 people attended. They had everyone introduce themselves. There are only a handful of longtime residents (over 20 years). I introduced myself and explained how my Father has been visiting the lake since he was about 18 and he died at age 80. And how I have been coming to the lake for 48 years, but I am only 47 OK I know I am 48, I guess I should have said I have been coming up here since before I was born.

The Property Owners Associtation needs help. They tried to organize a boat parade for the 4th. But only 6 boats showed up. And the meeting was more about complaining about speed boats than anything else. As I sat there listening to all this stuff, I remember the crazy stuff I used to do like; Water Skiing in the "Big" bay, it's too small to ski in. And play boat tag, where you crash your boat into someone elses. Or try to flip canoes over with the ski boat. So this Lake is still divided into to 2 groups, fisherman and skiers.

Apparently someone dumped a roll away bed into the lake. I hope it was one that was sitting on the property that I threw into the dumpster.
